Dale Moss says cheating was ‘never a topic of conversation’ during his split from Clare Crawley

Dale Moss says there was ‘never a conversation’ about cheating during his brief breakup from Bachelorette Clare Crawley.

Moss opened up about how infidelity accusations affected him while appearing on Hollywood Raw for his first in-depth interview since winning Crawley’s heart on the ABC dating show.

The handsome former football player, 32, staunchly denied rumors cheating was at the root of his split from California-based hairdresser, 40, saying: ‘That was never a conversation, even when we went through our split.’

‘It wasn’t even a thing. It was never even a topic of conversation,’ he went on about their January break-up.

Never: Dale Moss says there was ‘never a conversation’ about cheating during his brief breakup from Bachelorette Clare Crawley and admitted it ‘sucked’ to have his character called into question

Moss said that focusing on Clare was his priority during their rough patches, saying: ‘You really have to look past that and focus on one another’

But having his character called into question still stung for the South Dakota native.

‘I mean, that sucked,’ he told hosts Dax Holt and Adam Glyn. ‘When things are going at your character, and something you’re completely against, those are the hardest things to handle.’

Though Dale and Clare have romantically reunited, returning to Instagram together earlier this month, Moss wasn’t putting labels on things, simply saying the pair are ‘in a good place.’

‘We’ve never hid throughout this entire time we’ve been around each other,’ he explained.

‘We are definitely taking time, and spending time together,’ he said, adding: ‘Clare and I, we’re in a good place.

‘When the time is right we will definitely talk about all those things. For right now, we’re just focused on one another. We’re keeping things private and that’s working for us, in time we’ll speak about that together.’

He kept his cards close to his chest when asked if the maybe-couple were engaged, telling the podcast: ‘I’ll say this, Clare and I are in a good place. Focused on one another and leave it at that.’

Moss also addressed former Bachelor Colton Underwood’s recent coming out, telling the Hollywood Raw guys he was proud of the reality star.

‘As long as he’s happy and can go through each and every day feeling good about himself, there’s nothing but love and respect,’ Dale said.

And he talked about Bachelor Nation’s currently sidelined host Chris Harrison’s recent controversies, saying it’ll be an ‘adjustment’ for the veteran TV talent.

‘He’s definitely going through a lot with having to make this adjustment, with everything there’s a chance for growth for everyone involved,’ Dale said.

‘We are in a day in age where people are realizing that their perspective or view has to change from an understanding standpoint.

Moss said that he’s only had great experiences with Harrison, adding: ‘I think Chris is a great guy. I’ve never had a bad experience with him but I know this is a period of growth for him. It’s a time of growth for the network as well.’
