Before hosting the ceremony, Condor spoke with Variety about landing what she called a ‘dream job.’

‘I get to dress up and go wild. I haven’t dressed up in a bazillion years. It’s so important to highlight costume designers and uplift their work,’ Condor said.

She added that as an actor, ‘you spend so much time with them and they’re so patient, creative, kind and collaborative, so I’m very excited to be the host.’
