After dating for approximately six months, four months after publicly coming out, Braunwyn Windham Burke and girlfriend Kris are calling it quits.
The 43-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star both came out as lesbian and introduced her girlfriend Kris back in December.
Sources reveal that Kris broke up with Windham Burke over a month ago, but the exes are still friendly, according to People.

‘Kris broke up with Braunwyn well over a month ago’ the source revealed, adding, ‘Braunwyn understood.’
‘They were at two very different places in their lives and Kris wanted more of a commitment than Braunwyn was able to give, so it was better to part ways. They’re still friendly, and each want the best for the other,’ the source added.
The exes were last spotted together as a couple in February, though Windham Burke is still married to her husband of 20 years, Sean Burke.

They share seven children together, Bella, 20, Rowan, 18, Jacob, 15, twins Caden and Curran, 7, Koa, 4 and Hazel, 2.
Burke first came out during a tell-all interview with GLAAD in early December, where she revealed she was dating Kris.
‘I like women. I’m gay. I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community. It has taken me 42 years to say that but I am so proud of where I am right now,’ she said.

‘I’m so happy where I am. To be able to be comfortable in my own skin after so long is just so nice,’ Burke added.
When Burke introduced her fans to Kris in December, it was said they were dating for a ‘few months’ already.
‘They met at a time where Braunwyn was exploring this part of herself that for years she kept unconsciously suppressed, and Kris has proven to be a key person in helping guide Braunwyn through some of those really complicated emotions,’ she added.

Kris also helped Burke through her journey through sobreity, as the reality star celebrated one year sober in January.
As for her husband, she said that they both had ‘no plans’ to split up, though they are working through their issues.
‘But we’d like to and are trying to make that work in therapy,’ she revealed during a fan Q&A in Jaunary, adding, ‘things are calming down’ and ‘we’re finding a new normal.’
