Meghan King admits she’ll feel ‘free mixed with being scared’ after Jim Edmonds divorce is finalized… as she will be left ‘totally on my own’

Meghan King revealed she will likely feel ‘free mixed with being scared’ once her divorce from Jim Edmonds is finalized.

Jim filed for divorce in October 2019 just months after their marriage was rocked by a scandal involving the baseball heartthrob sexting other women.

And in a new interview Meghan, 36, told Us Weekly about how she will feel once the legal matters are sorted out and ‘I’ll be, like, totally on my own.’

End of the road: Meghan King revealed she will likely feel ‘free mixed with being scared’ once her divorce from Jim Edmonds is finalized

The fact that she will have to go on without Jim’s health insurance ‘kind of scares me because that’s a big expense,’ said the former Real Housewife Of Orange County.

However she is still mainly optimistic about the prospect of being liberated from ‘that huge energetic ball and chain that was holding me back.’

She shared: ‘It’s gone and now I can go and live my life and change my name legally, officially. And be with someone [new] as a single woman.’

Jim and Meghan got married in 2014 and welcomed three children into the world – daughter Aspen, four, and twin sons Hayes and Hart, two.

Back in June 2019 Meghan discovered Jim was sexting other women, and although they tried to move on from the scandal their marriage never recovered.

He filed for divorce in October and has now moved on with Kortnie O’Connor, whom Meghan claims once had a threesome with her and Jim.

Kortnie is now spending time with Jim and the children in the sprawling St. Louis mansion that he built with his estranged wife.

She has even moved her clothes into the house and Jim revealed on Instagram that he spent Christmas with her and the children.

Meanwhile Meghan moved on with a sizzling dreamboat called Christian Schauf but she announced this past November that they have split.

The process of co-parenting with Jim has had its bumps in the road including this past October when she announced on Instagram that Hart has cerebral palsy.

Jim claimed through a representative he was not informed of the official diagnosis until Meghan went public with the news on social media.

The representative said Jim ‘is unaware of any such diagnosis’ and that ‘if it is even true, it is completely unconscionable and absolutely disgraceful that Meghan would announce this on social media without discussing it with him first.’

Meghan had revealed in 2019 that Hart had periventricular leukomalacia (PVL), writing that he had ‘irreversible brain damage’ and was at risk of cerebral palsy.
