Inside Anthony Callea and husband Tim Campbell A-list Hayman Island getaway

Anthony Callea is one of Australia’s best known musicians. 

And the 38-year-old proved he holidays like music royalty this week, enjoying a break at the InterContinental Hayman Island Resort with his husband Tim Campbell.

On Thursday, the Prayer singer showed off his lavish $1200-a-night suite at the Island resort.

The couple arrived via a helicopter to the exclusive resort, which is favoured by local and international celebrities. 

The former Australian Idol star then shared a video of the pair entering the suite, panning over their room. 

‘You’ve excelled,’ Anthony said. ‘God you’ve come up in the world babe. You really know how to deliver the goods.’  

The stunning suite offers sweeping views over the island lagoon and inside there is a stunning four-poster bed and lavish furnishings. 

After arriving at the resort, the couple enjoyed a bottle of Perrier Jouet champagne. 

“This day could not get any better! Thanks Bello,” Anthony said to Tim.  

 Hayman Island is nestled in the Whitsunday with it moments away from Langford Island, Bali Hai, Blue Pearl Bay and Hook Island. 

Available activities include beachfront watersports, kayak tour, sunset peak hike,  weaving class and a golf simulator. 

There are also a number of exclusive restaurants including Pacific, Amici, and Bam Bam. 

The resort also offers ‘private’ dining experiences and a indulgent spa for guests. 

Anthony married actor Tim Campbell in 2014 after seven years of dating during a romantic ceremony in New Zealand. 

Anthony confirmed his sexuality in 2007, three years after placing second to Casey Donovan on season two of Australian Idol.

He told fans via his website: ‘For some, “coming out” isn’t a big issue. For me it was.

‘Others say you should just be honest with yourself. Well, that is easier said than done.’
