Erin Holland reveals if she will be appearing on SAS Australia

EXCLUSIVE: Cricket WAG Erin Holland FINALLY addresses rumours she will be appearing on SAS Australia

Former Miss World Australia Erin Holland was one of the first three stars tipped to join the 2021 line-up of SAS Australia.

But on Thursday, the 32-year-old shut down rumours she would be appearing on Channel Seven’s intense military training-themed reality show.

‘It’s news to me. That gave me the giggles,’ she told Daily Mail Australia on Thursday.

‘I was like I couldn’t think of anything more crazy than that. Good luck everyone, because that looks very, very very tough,’ Erin added.

When asked if she would ever consider signing up for the show, she said: ‘I mean, I love a challenge and think it would be hard.’

Erin explained that while she considers herself a mentally strong person, she would struggle when it comes to the physical challenges.

‘It would be hard to get away from a challenge. I’m not someone who backs down from one, but I would worry about the physical aspect of it a hundred per cent.’

It comes just days after The Sydney Morning Herald claimed the model-turned-TV presenter would be appearing on the show.

The publication also claimed that 2013 Celebrity Apprentice runner-up, John Steffensen, 38, moved from Melbourne to Sydney to begin filming on the program.

Meanwhile, New Idea claimed that Channel Seven is courting a cavalcade of controversial figures for the show, including disgraced chef Pete Evans, 48.

Late last year, the former My Kitchen Rules judge was dropped by 15 sponsors and companies in two days after posting a neo-Nazi meme to social media.

Also approached to appear is All Blacks star Sonny Bill Williams, 35, the magazine claims.

Other names being bandied about include cricketer Michael Clarke, 39, who if cast, will compete against his ex-wife, Kyly Clarke, 39, New Idea reported.

The pair, who share a five-year-old daughter, were married in 2012 and announced their separation in February 2020.

Olympic swimmer Ian Thorpe, 38, who has battled alcohol abuse and depression, is also ‘in talks’ to appear according to the publication.
