A newly rugged Jamie Dornan spotted on the South Australian outback set of The Tourist

He’s best known for playing the smooth and clean shaven Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades trilogy.

But Jamie Dornan showed his rugged side on Thursday, when the 38-year-old actor stepped onto the Outback set of his new Stan series, The Tourist.

The Northern Irish star also flaunted his ripped arms in a T-shirt for the sun-soaked desert scene.

Christian who? Jamie Dornan showed his rugged side on Thursday, when the 38-year-old Fifty Shades of Grey actor stepped onto the Outback set of his new Stan series, The Tourist

Jamie was a far cry from the sleek billionaire character that made him famous, while kitted out in a light gray shirt that bore the iconic image of Uluru in the middle of a love heart.

Through the middle was the word ‘AUSTRALIA’ in block letters.

The star of The Fall capped off the look with blue jeans and a close-cropped haircut.

In the thriller series, Dornan will play a British man who finds himself stuck in the Australian Outback.

His character is injured in a hospital and unaware of his identity. He returns to the outback to find answers about his past.

‘The Tourist are some of the most exciting scripts I’ve ever read. I can’t wait to go to Australia with such a talented group of people,’ Jaime said.
