This Country centres around the lives of young people in modern rural Britain, focusing on cousins Kerry and Kurtan Mucklowe (played by Daisy and Charlie) and their life in the Cotswolds.

The sitcom also features Daisy and Charlie’s real life dad Paul, who plays Kerry’s father Martin, as well as their uncle Trevor, who portrays antagonist Len Clifton.

Discussing what it was like working with her loved ones, Daisy joked: ‘Dad was absolutely terrible. He couldn’t remember his lines. It was horrendous.

While she said of her brother: ‘He wasn’t a professional actor. He went to uni to study sport science and then realised he was really thick.’

The much-loved BBC Three mockumentary aired its final episode last year, but Daisy admitted that she hasn’t ruled out writing more.

She told Jonathan: ‘We might do… maybe we’ll do a Christmas special some time in the future, but I’m not sure yet.’
