Sexologist Alessandra Rampolla tipped to join Married At First Sight celebrity edition as participant

She’s the newest addition on Married At First Sight who has fast become a fan favourite.

And now sexologist Alessandra Rampolla, 47, is tipped to leave her expert role behind and join the show as a participant.

According to Sportsbet.com.au, punters are already placing their bets on who will join the celebrity version of the Channel Nine dating experiment.

The single Puerto Rican beauty, who is currently single, is currently priced at $9.00 to exit the show and reappear on the MAFS couch with a potential husband if production goes ahead.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Channel 9 for comment.

On Monday, New Idea magazine reported that producers already have a list of celebrities they hope to cast on the rumoured new format.

It includes Richard Reid, Yvie Jones, Ash Williams, Tully Smyth, Harry T and Paulini Curuenavuli who have been ‘mentioned’ by casting directors.

An anonymous producer for Endemol told the magazine it was important to ‘change things up’ for the show.

The show will reportedly rival ratings juggernaut Celebrity Big Brother – which is currently in production by Channel Seven.

The insider added celebrities have been lining-up for a career boost due to the show’s popularity.

‘The truth is, the show has made some of the participants household names, and now some household names need a career boost,’ they said.

‘That’s the MAFS machine.’

Former Channel 9 presenter Richard Reid is also pegged to join at $2.50, along with ex-Bachelorette Ali Oetjen with the figure of $5.00.

The Project host and comedian Tommy Little was also included on the list at $21.

‘Celebrities are likely to be on their best behaviour, so we doubt the show would rate as well as MAFS,’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Rich Hummerston.

‘But Alessandra has gained a cult following and she would be an interesting addition to any celebrity experiment.’
