Kelly Osbourne has revealed she is training to become an actress, just weeks after her mother Sharon’s dramatic exit from The Talk.

The television personality, 36, said she is taking acting classes ‘every day’ in an attempt to forge out a new career for herself on screen.

She said she spent months writing during lockdown last year after receiving treatment for alcohol addiction, and has now revealed that she has now ‘sold’ four TV show ideas to different channels.

The former reality TV star’s debut as an actress could see her take on roles on-screen in music and fashion as well as a possible return to reality TV.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: ‘I’m a full-blown actress. I started a project two months after getting sober.

‘I am in training every day and in acting classes every day and really preparing for this new thing that all starts and stops with me being good at it, so it’s a lot of pressure.’

The daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne said that while the career move is giving her ‘terrible anxiety’, it’s worth it as her ‘dreams are finally coming true’.

She continued: ‘I’ve got terrible anxiety from it all but it’s my dreams and my dreams are finally coming true.’

Last month, Kelly’s mother Sharon left CBS’ The Talk after she defended Piers Morgan’s criticisms of Meghan Markle.

The former talk show host, 68, was forced to quit her long-running gig as one of the cohosts of The Talk.

She originally defended her old friend Piers’ comments following Megan and Harry’s controversial tell-all interview with Oprah.

Amid the uproar, allegations emerged that Sharon had made racist comments to her colleagues in the past, while led to her being pushed out of the show.

At the time, Page Six reported that the broadcaster could be receiving a major payout, with a source telling the publication: ‘Sharon is walking away with a $5 to $10 million minimum payout and was able to spin that it was her decision [to leave the show]’

The agreement will reportedly leave her open to speaking about the matter publicly in the future.

‘She still wants to give her side of the story. She has been on that show for 11 years and knows all the secrets,’ the source continued.

However, a CBS spokesperson threw cold water on the reports while speaking to Metro.co.uk, saying the estimated dollar amounts were ‘False, inaccurate or untrue. Take your pick.’

Meanwhile daughter Kelly, who rose to fame on her family’s reality MTV show, The Osbournes between 2002 – 2005, has previously hit out at Hollywood for making her feel desirable only after she lost weight.

The former Fashion Police host lost an impressive 85lb after undergoing gastric sleeve surgery two years ago.

Kelly has been open about her weight struggles throughout the years which prompted her to undergo the sleeve procedure.

She first debuted her impressive weight loss in late August, she hit back at rumours of plastic surgery as people took notice of her changing face and figure on the Hollywood Raw podcast.

‘I had surgery — I don’t give a f**k what anyone has to say. I did the gastric sleeve. All it does is change the shape of your stomach. I got that almost two years ago. I will never ever ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done,’ she said.

Adding that the procedure was not a ‘quick fix’ she said that she still needed to ensure she worked out and ate right or else the weight would come right back.

‘All it does is move you in the right direction. it cuts out this hormone that if you have addiction issues, it stops your craving and it makes you not emotionally eat, which is a huge problem for me,’ she confessed.

Also revealing that she had to do a year of therapy ahead of the surgery she said, ‘I had to fix my head before I could fix my body,’ as she said a ‘good mindset’ was imperative to have the procedure.
