Allison Janney says it feels ‘amazing’ to rock her natural hair after years of coloring and extensions.

The Mom star, 61, showcased her chic silver locks while appearing on the Drew Barrymore Show remotely on Tuesday, telling the hostess she’s ‘in heaven’ with her new ‘do.

After Drew complimented Allison on her ‘stunning’ tresses, Janney said: ‘I cannot tell you how amazing it is to feel free. Free from hair color and hair extensions and hair tape and blah blah blah.’

The star, who is a lifelong bachelorette, went on saying how great it was ‘to be able to run my hands through my hair,’ adding ‘Hopefully sometime a man will be able to run his hands through my hair and just appreciate it. 

‘It’s heaven,’ Allison, who looked radiant with soft pink jacket slung over her shoulders, went on. ‘I am enjoying this new chapter in my hairdo world.’

Barrymore asked Janney if she suffered any awkward hair moments before the chop, wondering: ‘Have you ever had a man like drag his hand through your hair and hit an extension? That’s a real moment.’

The West Wing favorite could definitely relate, confessing: ‘Drew, one time I was flirting with this guy, I was walking down the street in NY just putting my hands in my hair and two extensions came out and I just was dropping them on the ground.

But she added: ‘I’ve had more embarrassing moments with hair extensions coming out.’ 

Allison also touched on her decision not to get married or have a family, telling Drew why it was the right choice for her. 

‘I think if I would have found the right guy at the right time who wanted to have kids I probably would have with the right partner,’ she explained. 

‘Because I wasn’t ever really confident that I wanted to have kids and I would rather regret not having kids than have kids and regret that.’

The I, Tonya talent said that she’s completely fine with being independent, adding: ‘I’m okay with it. I really am this time in my life getting to know who I am and what I want. 

‘I’d love to eventually find someone to share my life with but if it doesn’t happen, I’ll be just fine,’ she explained.

But that didn’t mean Janney isn’t nursing any crushes, telling Drew she’s keeps to just daydreaming about dudes.

‘Right now, I’m just virtually dating, my latest crush is Rip on Yellowstone,’ she dished about Cole Hauser’s character on the Paramount Network drama.
