And Sam Quek has revealed she’s called her little one Molly Doris Mairs as she opened up about having a C-section following a lengthy 27-hour labour.
The Olympic gold medallist, 32, welcomed her daughter on March 2 after being 11 days overdue.

She had a ‘traumatic’ c-section, as the athlete’s stomach muscles made it difficult to cut the baby out, according to The Sun.
Sam admitted she struggled to come to terms with giving birth this way, and said the process ‘went on for hours’.
The I’m A Celebrity star said: ‘We got to 6cm [dilated] at midnight and it went on for hours. The consultant kept coming in and I wasn’t moving from 6cm.’

‘She said, “Listen, you’re absolutely shattered. You’ve gone through a lot, your waters have been broken for longer than we’d like.”‘
After a full day in labour, Tom said that the baby’s head was ‘starting to swell’ and the couple had to decide to have a surgical delivery.
Tom said: ‘They checked her at hour 24 and said, “You’re still at 6cm, what do you want to do?”‘
‘Sam was like, “It’s time to discuss options.” The baby’s head was starting to swell.’

The new mother admitted she felt like a failure because a low supply of milk made breastfeeding tough.
Last month, she took to Instagram to announce the news of her new arrival as she shared a sweet black-and-white photo of her newborn’s hand.
Sam sweetly added a red heart emoji alongside the snap and penned: ‘02.03.2021.’
The former England hockey player revealed that she was pregnant in November after tragically suffering a miscarriage at the beginning of 2020.
Talking alongside her husband, Sam told OK! Magazine: ‘It’s been quite surreal because we’ve kept it private. Being able to talk about it, it now feels real. I’m really, really excited.’
At the beginning of 2020, Sam and Tom discovered they were five weeks pregnant after a year of trying to conceive. But five weeks later Sam miscarried.
‘I didn’t want to speak to anyone. I had guilt and shame that it was my fault,’ Sam explained of the devastating time.
‘I was looking back at everything I did during pregnancy and replaying every single minute. I put it all on me and my body. But I never said that to Tom at the time.’
Sam and Tom married at Chester Racecourse in 2018 after getting engaged in June 2017 when Tom proposed during a holiday in Tenerife.
