Molly-Mae previously chatted about her birthmark during a YouTube video shared to her account back in January, addressing her hairline’s shape.

While putting on her makeup, Molly-Mae explained: ‘I actually was born with a very very large strawberry birthmark.

‘Essentially it looked like this [holds up a pink beauty blender]. It was bright red, it was super large, it stuck out from my head quite far. It was a very, very large one to be honest and in certain pictures of it it’s quite shocking, it was huge.’

The reality star went on to discuss how she had the birthmark removed when she was 12 or 13 years old and starting secondary school.

She told fans that her parents had been worried she could be bullied over the mark but added that ‘luckily’ she never was bullied.

Molly-Mae said: ‘I just wasn’t confident about it and as I got older, the colour kind of faded but birthmarks are cool. Own them, rock them. The only reason I got mine removed was because it was so in a prominent area, right on my head.’

Elsewhere in the Q&A on Monday, Molly-Mae bore a striking resemblance to Frankie Bridge as she shared a throwback snap of herself as a teenager.

What is a Strawberry birthmark?

A strawberry birthmark is made of blood vessels that form a raised red lump on the skin and appear soon after birth.

They are more common in girls, premature babies (born before 37 weeks), low birth weight babies, and multiple births, such as twins.

Usually the birthmarks shrink and disappear by the age of seven, however they often get bigger for the first 6 to 12 months of a child’s life.

Strawberry birthmarks may need treatment if they affect vision, breathing, or feeding.

Other common birthmarks include salmon patches or stork marks as well as port wine stains and cafe-au-lait spots.
