Christian Wilkins was enjoying a little football on Monday evening. 

The son of TV host Richard Wilkins tuned in to the game between Melbourne AFL teams Geelong and Hawthorn.

The 25-year-old fashionista quickly found something that caught his interest on the field – and it wasn’t the score.

Christian zoomed in on a particularly handsome player, sharing a short clip to Instagram Stories, captioned: ‘My AFL interest just peaked [sic]’. 

The player on screen was none other than strapping Geelong full-forward Tom Hawkins, 32. 

The epitome of tall, dark and handsome, the AFL star clocks in at an incredible 198 cm in height.

Bad news for Christian however, as Tom is taken – the footballer has been married to his high-school sweetheart Emma since 2016. 

The couple, who have been together for 15 years, have three daughters, Arabella and Primrose, as well as little Mimi, who they welcomed in 2019. 

Christian meanwhile recently told Sunday Life that he has remained single as he is focused on prioritising his blossoming acting career, including filming a new series for Stan.

‘I have never been in a relationship. I am a bit of a hopeless romantic,’ he told the publication.

‘There were periods of my life when I was quite upset about not being in one, but despite everything, 2020 was a period of self-discovery for me,’ he added.

The openly gay star also revealed that his first kiss actually took place in a fleeting moment during Mardi Gras at age 16, with a Frenchman he didn’t know at the time.
