A Married At First Sight editing fail reveals who the next couple to leave the experiment will be

Married At First Sight SPOILER: Editing fail accidentally reveals which couple will leave the experiment during the show’s final commitment ceremony

Channel Nine may have accidentally given away which couple will be the next to go on Married At First Sight.

As the hit reality show nears the highly-anticipated finale, a teaser trailer released on Monday left out one popular couple.

Early fan favourites Brett Helling and Booka Nile only featured briefly in the trailer, which hints their relationship doesn’t make it past the final commitment ceremony.

Sitting on the couch during Monday night’s final commitment ceremony, Booka, 31, says: ‘I don’t know that there’s romance between us anymore.’

Meanwhile, a stony-faced Brett, 31, simply sat beside his ‘wife’ and listened, after previously claiming he was determined to fight for their relationship.

Despite starting out as one of the strongest couples on this year’s show, things took a turn after Booka received a damning letter from fellow groom Patrick Hayes Dwyer, which criticised her behaviour.

The letter was part of a task assigned to the couples during Feedback Week, and it didn’t take Booka long to trace its contents back to Brett, who is close friends with Patrick, 27.

‘Once the penny dropped I just saw red and got really upset,’ Booka later told 9Entertainment.

The letter accused Booka of bragging about her achievements, and claimed she spent too much time talking about her band and how smart she is.

‘Hearing that he had kind of gone and taken what I loved, and my career, and flipped it around to be an attack on my character was really upsetting because I’m proud of the work that I’ve done in music,’ she added.

Booka said she felt ‘betrayed’ by Brett, but agreed to try and work on their relationship during a group couples retreat.

She again addressed the letter on Instagram last week: ‘This is how I heard Patrick’s letter: “Dear Booka. You absolutely suck and I know this cos your husband tells me all the time. Love Patty.”‘

Married At First Sight continues on Monday from 7:30pm on Nine
