ASAP Rocky goes mask-free while grabbing his Goyard luggage from baggage claim at JFK airport

ASAP Rocky looked worry-free as he touched down at JFK airport mask-free on Saturday. 

The 32-year-old rapper — who has been seen spending time with Rihanna lately — appeared to flout COVID-19 mandates as he grabbed his Goyard luggage at the busy New York hub. 

Despite the vaccine rollout, masks are still required per CDC and TSA guidelines at airports and on flights.  

The Praise the Lord rapper put his spin on a retro look as he was seen strolling in a stylish black and white Places And Faces letterman jacket with high top Converse. 

He appeared to clasp an embellished belt in his hand and rocked a trucker hat and jeans while traveling with a pal.   

ASAP clutched his burgundy Goyard travel bag in his hands at baggage claim following his journey from an unknown place of origin. 

Despite having certain privileges as a celebrity, CDC guidelines are still heavily enforced at airports and on planes. 

Last month the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) extended its ‘zero tolerance’ policy for passengers who refuse to wear masks while in flight. 

Per Homeland Security Today, Passengers can be fined up to $35K and even face jail time if the in-flight crew feels someone is less than cooperative with regards to the mask-wearing mandate. 

Over the past few months ASAP has been seen getting cozy with music darling Rihanna. 

They have collaborated musically and went on tour together in 2013, also stepping out on many red carpets in recent years as ‘friends.’

In 2017 Rihanna began dating billionaire heir Hassan Jameel and Rocky was briefly linked to Kendall Jenner that same year. 

In January 2020 the Savage x Fenty designer split from Jameel and shortly thereafter she was reported to have shared a hotel room with the rapper. 

They continued to fuel dating rumors when he appeared in her campaign for skincare line Fenty Skin in July and have also been spotted out together on numerous occasions. 

In November they seemed to be a full fledged item and by December People reported they were indeed a couple.  

‘They’ve been inseparable the past few weeks. It’s a new relationship, but they both seem very into it,’ a source shared, adding ‘Rihanna seems very happy dating A$AP.’

And that month he flew with her to her native Barbados where they were seen packing on the PDA and rang in the New Year together. 

Post lockdown, ASAP has been tapped to perform at the Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas which is eyeing a September date.
