Holly Willoughby offers a glimpse of her fun Easter weekend with her three children

Holly Willoughby put on quite the spread this Easter weekend.

The This Morning star, 40, took to Instagram on Saturday to wish her followers happy Easter, along with a grid of snaps offering a glimpse into her plans with her family.

Holly showed off her delicious rainbow gateau which she enjoyed with her family as they relaxed at home ahead of the Easter celebrations.

After the sweet treat Holly revealed she and her family enjoyed a game of Cluedo, while she tucked into a spring salad for lunch.

Clearly inspired by the spring weather, Holly also offered a glimpse of her Easter decor with vintage-inspired red paisley crockery.

Tagging the likes of celebrity chef James Martin and baker Juliet Sear, the presenter made sure to credit her famous foodie friends for inspiring her festive menu.

The mother-of-three sweetly captioned her post: ‘Happy Easter,’ and was quickly inundated with kind fan messages wishing her well.

‘This all looks gorgeous! Happy Easter to you all Holly, hope it’s a good one,’ wrote one social media user, with another joking: ‘Can I have some cake please?’

Holly will no doubt spend the weekend with husband Dan Baldwin, 46, and their children, Harry, 11, Belle, nine, and six-year-old Chester.

The family live in West London, and earlier this month doting mum Holly revealed she had been making some home improvements – namely in the garden.

Posting a photo of herself holding a watering can on Instagram, the former Celebrity Juice host explained she was determined to make her green-fingered ventures a success this year, admitting her gardening skills were lacking in 2020.

She penned: ‘Well… lets try this again… not much success in 2020… keeps the snails and squirrels happy anyhow…’

Holly appeared to have already had some success, with the boxes visible behind her filled with shoots of green leaves amongst the dirt.

The blonde beauty’s garden antics came after she revealed that socialising with other parents at ‘mum groups’ was one the ‘most important’ things that helped her as a new mother.

She said that making the effort to go to events with other families was important for the ‘socialisation’ of her baby.

During a discussion on the ongoing lockdown restrictions across the country and the impact on new parents on This Morning, she admitted it was good as it ‘got her out of the house’.

Speaking alongside her co-host Phillip Schofield, she said: ‘I remember being a new mum, one of the most important things was socialisation of the baby, going to mum groups, whatever it was, music things.

‘That would be good for me because it would get me out of the house, but also great for the children to be able to socialise.’

The TV favourite chooses not to show her kids’ faces on social media, but this year did post a sweet picture with her daughter Belle to mark International Women’s Day.

Posting a touching snap to Instagram of the mother-of-three hugging her daughter she captioned the snap: ‘There is a magic in her… there is a magic in all women…

‘A wild and strong magic… can you feel it…#internationalwomensday [sic]’

Earlier this month Holly spoke about how she never shows her children online as then they become ‘for consumption for everybody’.

During a discussion about Meghan Markle she said: ‘I choose not to show my children’s faces because I know that’s the deal. If you show one photograph then they’re out there!

‘They’re for consumption for everybody! Which is why I choose not to do it.’
