Ozzy Osbourne supports wife Sharon after dramatic exit from The Talk

Ozzy Osbourne has vocalized his support for his wife Sharon following her dramatic exit from The Talk over her defense of Piers Morgan‘s criticism of Meghan Markle

The 68-year-old former talk show host’s rocker husband, 72, broke his silence on Instagram by posting an old red carpet photo with her, in which he poses with a cupped-hand behind the ear as if he’s trying to hear someone better on Thursday.

‘I can’t f**king hear you!’ he captioned the image with the hashtag #TeamSharon to make it abundantly clear he’s standing his spouse of 38 years, who he shares three children: Aimée, 37, Kelly, 37, and Jack, 35.

In less than 24 hours, his post received 116,921 likes and more than a thousand comments, which were largely in support of Sharon, who believed she was being ‘silenced.’

‘Team Sharon always. True to herself. Unlike some,’ one fan commented as others wrote she should sue CBS and that they plan to stop watching the show in protest.

Others, however, suggested that Sharon ‘is in the wrong’ and should listen to what others are saying.’

On Thursday, Sharon showed off one of her cutest little furballs with a sweet snap of herself and a fun-sized Pomeranian wearing a matching set of pajamas.

The British-American star posted the light-hearted photo days after she was forced out of The Talk and accused of making racist remarks about her cohosts.

Sharon looked cozy at home in a fuzzy pale pink robe while cradling her dog in her hands.

She had the pooch — likely her Pomeranian Bella — held just above her leg to show that the dog was wearing a tiny outfit in the same white and blue striped pattern as her loose-fitting pajama pants.

‘I promise we didn’t plan this,’ she joked in her caption about her and Bella’s twinning ensembles, while sporting her standard short burgundy-dyed tresses.

In addition to having close to ten dogs, Sharon also has a few cats who wander in her LA home.

The celebrity personality also faced controversy in 2019 after she made an appearance on the BBC game show Would I Lie To You? during which she said she had fired her assistant after they had saved their dogs during a house fire.

Sharon said that the assistant stopped to receive oxygen from firefighters after rescuing the dogs, but she ordered them to save more paintings and put the oxygen mask on one of the dogs.

When they refused, she claimed she fired the assistant.

But after an uproar over the cold-hearted actions, Sharon claimed on The Talk that she had only been joking about stealing the oxygen and sending them back the burning home to make a more humorous story, and that the assistant was later fired for unrelated reasons.

Sharon has recently lying low and sharing playful photos to Instagram after she was forced to quit her long-running gig as one of the cohosts of CBS’ The Talk.

She originally courted controversy after defending Piers Morgan’s comments about Markle, which many viewers found to be racist and harassing.

Amid the uproar, allegations emerged that Sharon had made racist comments to her colleagues in the past.

Page Six reported earlier this week that the broadcaster could be receiving a major payout after being pushed out of the show.

‘Sharon is walking away with a $5 to $10 million minimum payout and was able to spin that it was her decision [to leave the show],’ a source told the publication.

The agreement will reportedly leave her open to speaking about the matter publicly in the future.

‘She still wants to give her side of the story. She has been on that show for 11 years and knows all the secrets,’ the source continued.

However, a CBS spokesperson threw cold water on the reports while speaking to Metro.co.uk, saying the estimated dollar amounts were ‘False, inaccurate or untrue. Take your pick.’
