Grant Denyer’s wife Chezzi freaks out as daughters ride ‘ramp of death’

In the doghouse? Grant Denyer’s wife Chezzi ‘freaks out’ as their young daughters ride the ‘ramp of death’ in the backyard without a helmet on

Grant Denyer looked to have been sent to the doghouse on Thursday.

The TV host had his wife Chezzi Denyer ‘freaking out’ when their daughters Sailor, nine, and Scout, five, did not wear a helmet while playing in the backyard.

Grant, 43, placed a beam on a step leading up to the balcony for his children to ride their bikes and scooters on, which he shared to his Instagram.

On his Instagram Stories, Grant jokingly described the makeshift mini obstacle course as the ‘beam of death’.

He kept a close eye on Sailor and cheered her on as she rode along the beam.

Grant also shared footage of Scout riding her bike along the beam on his Instagram page, joking in the post’s caption why Chezzi, 41, never leaves them alone.

‘If you work for our health insurance provider, look away now… because Scouty is wildin’. This is also why Mum never leaves us alone,’ he wrote, alongside the hashtags ‘Nitro Circus’, ‘ramp of death’ and ‘quick, call Mum’.

Chezzi was quick to comment underneath the post, hilariously writing: ‘Um. Oh my GOD. Helmet yo,’ along with the hashtags ‘Mum going to freak’ and ‘yes’.

Grant and Chezzi are also proud parents to daughter Sunday Mary Mae Denyer, who they welcomed in February.

The couple admitted to The Daily Telegraph’s Stellar magazine last month that they’d forgotten what it’s like to have a newborn.

‘The first night home from the hospital, I turned to Grant and said, “I can’t believe we forgot how little babies sleep! What have we done?”‘ Chezzi told the publication.

Chezzi went on to say that she needed some advice from nursing staff when it came to the new baby.

‘We had to get the nurses to show us how to swaddle the baby in the hospital because we couldn’t remember!’ she admitted.

Grant added: ‘We literally had no furniture, no clothes, no cot and no pram in the minutes leading up to the birth. We just had the confidence of knowing the other two survived. So we’re not completely useless.’
