A source told MailOnline on Wednesday: ‘Alex is super busy right now and there is an exciting announcement coming next week.
‘She’s had a lot of interesting opportunities come her way lately – and she’s been in the studio all this week recording her new album.

She was seen winning the coveted accolade of Star Baker a few weeks ago on The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer on Channel 4, and photographed last week leaving a West End theatre.
Clearly excited ahead of the new projects, Alexandra sizzled in sultry snaps on Wednesday, showing off her stunning physique in a black lingerie set after taking part in the #BussItChallenge on TikTok.
The X Factor winner, 32, looked incredible as she posed in the frayed two-piece, adorned with sparkling studs.

The singer won the ITV singing contest in 2008 and released her debut album, Overcome, the following autumn.
