Selena Gomez was snapped Tuesday night on the New York City set on her upcoming Hulu series Only Murders in the Building filming a scene with co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin, in which Martin was loaded into the back of an ambulance.

On the shoot in Gotham, Gomez, 28, donned a fuzzy khaki coat with a black top and an orange plaid skirt and dark pantyhose. She wore her dark locks back with black and dark yellow shoe boots.

Short, who turned 71 last week, matched Gomez in a khaki coat with blue slacks and black sneakers with his brown locks combed.

He wore brown-rimmed glasses with a ventilation device hooked to his face as he was strapped onto a gurney.

According to Hulu, the series followed ‘three strangers who share an obsession with true crime suddenly find themselves caught up in one.’

Gomez, who plays Mabel on the series, is an executive producer on the show. The role marks her first regular part on a TV show since appearing on Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place.

Martin is a creator with John Hoffman on the streaming series, which is set to run for 10 episodes.

He told Vogue earlier this month said that Gomez’s ‘performance is rich and adult,’ as ‘she’s learned to underplay when necessary.’

Martin told the magazine that Gomez’s ‘nicely, intensely low-key’ performance complements the humorous stylings of he and Short, who have past shared the screen in comedy classics such as the Three Amigos! and Father of the Bride.

‘Marty and I are pretty manic, and she’s this solid, solid rock foundation,’ he said. ‘Marty and I joke around constantly, and we weren’t sure if she’d be game for it. But now we think of ourselves as the Three Musketeers.’

Martin said he was excited to have Gomez onboard the project.

‘You get a list of names, you know, you’re thinking, sure, they’d be good, they’d be good, and then they say, “What about Selena Gomez?”‘ he said. ‘And it’s just – yes, of course.

‘There was no question except “Can we get her?” We knew she would enhance the show in so many ways, the number one being talent.’
