Melissa Benoist is all smiles as she films Supergirl with co-star David Harewood in Vancouver

Melissa Benoist certainly doesn’t have a case of the Monday’s, seen smiling away as she’s spotted on the set of Supergirl.

The 32-year-old actress was spotted on set in Vancouver, in her full form-fitting Supergirl costume.

She was also spotted alongside David Harewood, who plays J’onn J’onzz, a.k.a. Martian Manhunter, in the series, as they film the final season.

Benoist was wearing her full-length Supergirl suit, complete with a red cape and matching red boots.

She was later seen with a black coat over her Supergirl suit, along with a blue medical face mask between takes.

The photos come just one day before the final season starts airing on The CW, with the Season 6 premiere airing Tuesday, March 30.

Her co-star David Harewood was also seen on the set, taking a break between takes and chatting on the phone.

Hhe was sporting his full black and red suit, with a pair of sunglasses perched atop his head.

He also had a face mask off to the side while he spoke on the phone during a break on the set. 

The CW announced earlier this month that Supergirl will take over the Tuesday 9 PM time slot for the Supergirl spin-off, Superman and Lois.

Superman and Lois had to pause production due to COVID-19 issues, with Supergirl airing the first half of its final season starting March 30.

Superman and Lois will return to close out its first season on Tuesday, May 18, while Supergirl will complete its final season later this summer. 

The small screen superhero also became a mother last year, welcoming her son Huxley Robert Wood with her husband Chris Wood.

Aside from her work on Supergirl and the rest of the Arrowverse, Benoist recently had a voice role in Robot Chicken.

She also played Chronic in the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, reuniting with director Kevin Smith, who has directed four episodes of Supergirl.
