It comes after Maya said she is certain that her new role will be ‘hilarious and fun’.

The brunette bombshell added: ‘I never have any idea quite what’s going to unfold on Celeb Juice, but I do know it’s always going to be hilarious and super fun.’

Maya also revealed that she’s ‘long dreamed’ of joining the hit show, and called her fellow panelists some of her ‘favourite people’.

‘It’s a show I dreamed about going on when I was growing up and so I’m beyond thrilled to become a regular on the show and be given the opportunity to share the panel with some of my favourite people. Bang Tidy,’ the TV star gushed.

Maya’s addition to the panel is another cast shakeup in recent months.

Back in September, Laura, 35, and Emily, 31, were announced as Holly Willoughby’s replacements after she left her 12-year stint.

Holly launched the show with Keith and her pal Fearne Cotton in 2008.

Speaking about the new role, Emily said it was ‘the most ridiculous and daunting path’ stepping into Holly’s shoes.

Opening up about the experience, Emily said at the time: ‘Everything I’m doing now is kind of my dream job.

She added: ‘Stepping into shoes like Holly Willoughby’s is the most ridiculous and daunting path as a telly person.

‘It’s like, “How on earth will I fill shoes like that?!” But I’m just so humbled and flattered, and I’m glad to be doing the show with Laura, she’s my really good friend.’

Prior to the announcement, Maya had been rumoured to become a team captain, while Spice Girls’ Mel B, Kelly Brook, Gino D’Acampo and Paddy McGuinness all served as team captains in the past.

Maya’s exciting career development comes shortly after she confessed she’d love to ‘go off grid’ for several months, but would still want to ‘do lots of work things’.

She said: ‘I just want to escape for a year if we’re allowed to and go off the grid. But I still want to do lots of work things, so it’s about getting the balance right.

‘I plan on taking at least a couple of months off and running away to somewhere like Brazil and coming off social media.’
