Married At First Sight groom Christopher Mark Jenson was arrested for drug trafficking before his appearance on this year’s season of the hit reality TV show.
News only broke of Chris’ dangerous past last week – the same week he left the series after a brief stunt as a late-comer to the series.
Despite fans outrage and shock, the 32-year-old was seen trying to unwind in Brisbane with a group of friends on Sunday.

Chris looked relaxed as he paced on the phone around the Scarborough boat ramp.
Wearing blue board shorts and a blank singlet, the TV star was set for a day on the water in Queensland’s hot weekend weather.
Chris was a late-comer to this year’s series, and was paired with bride Jaimie Gardner on the hit Channel Nine reality show.
The two failed to form a connection though, and opted to leave the series last week.

Chris was due to appear for a mention before Brisbane Supreme Court this month, but the matter was adjourned until April 23.
Jensen had previously been granted Supreme Court Bail, The Courier Mail reported.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, Queensland Courts and the Department of Justice and Attorney-General confirmed the charges.
He was arrested alongside three co-accused, who are all facing similar charges.

A Brisbane Magistrates Court spokesman told The Courier Mail Jensen last appeared in court before on October 30, 2020, after being granted magistrates bail in 2018
During his last appearance his bail was enlarged, and the matter was adjourned to July 23.
Jenson also faces single charges of possessing dangerous drugs, possessing anything used in commission of a crime, possessing used utensils or pipes and two counts of possessing property suspected of being proceeds of an offence under the Drugs Misuse Act.
