He’s the award-winning actor known for his Hollywood good looks. 

But Zac Efron risked ruining his perfect features last week when he hit himself in the face with a rake while filming Netflix docu-series Down to Earth. 

The actor, 33, was walking through a kitchen garden in Victoria, Australia, when he stepped on the garden tool and it flew right into his face.

The Baywatch star yelped in pain and dropped to the ground.  

However, fans need not worry as it appears Zac was only kidding around.

‘Who left the rake here?’ he captioned the short clip, which he shared with his 45 million followers on Instagram.

Earlier in the day, Zac showed off his ripped abs while performing a number of crunches in order to keep in shape on the road.

The High School Musical star worked up a sweat on a gym floor as he honed his Adonis-like physique.

Zac is currently travelling around Australia with wellness expert Darin Olien for the Netflix series Down to Earth.

The docu-series will follow their search for healthy and sustainable ways to live.

He also embraces local food, culture and customs while exploring the land Down Under.

It comes after a well-placed source revealed that Zac is preparing to fly to North America in May with his Australian girlfriend, Vanessa Valladares.

He will shoot the big-screen adaptation of Stephen King novel Firestarter in Canada.

Zac signed on for the sci-fi horror flick in September last year, and will spend about eight weeks filming in Canada.

He will then return to Australia with Vanessa.

Zac met Vanessa in July last year when she was working as a waitress at Byron Bay’s General Store & Café.

They were apparently introduced by her boss.

Vanessa has since fitted seamlessly into the Hollywood heart-throb’s entourage of high-profile friends, and regularly visits him on set.

Last year, she travelled to the South Australian outback to stay with her boyfriend as he filmed his Stan Original movie Gold.

Their relationship is believed to be serious, with a source telling New Idea: ‘I really think Zac’s at the point where he’d marry Vanessa tomorrow if she said yes.’

Zac relocated to Byron Bay in March last year in an attempt to escape the Covid-19 pandemic in the U.S., and now reportedly plans to make the move more permanent.
