Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven gets into a furious fight with Jake Edwards

Jake Edwards and Bryce Ruthven almost came to blows during a heated argument on Monday’s episode of Married At First Sight.

The couples had all sat down for their first dinner during the show’s couples retreat when Bryce, 31, stormed in late and decided to give everyone a piece of his mind.

As he zeroed in on Rebecca Zemek, Jake, 32, stood up and confronted him, forcing fellow groom Johnny Balbuziente to step in between them. 

‘Don’t stand up and deliver a message to someone who’s sitting down,’ Jake yelled, standing up from his own seat at the table.

He continued: ‘Sit down! Mate, don’t do it. Sit down.’

But Bryce, 31, refused, and blasted Jake for standing by his ‘wife’ Rebecca, 27, as things grew increasingly heated.

‘Of course I’m standing by my wife, mate. You’re the one impacting your wife!’ Jake told Bryce, as his ‘wife’, Melissa Rawson, stood sheepishly behind him.

Jake then told Bryce off for voting ‘leave’ at Sunday’s commitment ceremony, only to later change his mind to ‘stay’.

He told Bryce that Melissa, 31, was ‘vulnerable’, and he still decided to vote ‘leave’, before backflipping on his decision.

Taking Bryce’s hand, Melissa declared that she was ‘done’ with the conversation, before leading her ‘husband’ outside.

‘You should probably apologise, Rebecca,’ Bryce called over his shoulder as he stormed out of the room.

‘P**s off!’ a furious Jake called after him.
