Her post comes after Little Mix revealed on Saturday that they have returned to the recording studio as they shared a fun dance video to Instagram.

The girl group – consisting of Jade Thirlwall, 28, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 29, and Perrie Edwards, 27 – were seen showing off their best moves as they took a break from recording new music.

It marks their first recording session without former fourth member, Jesy, who signed a solo deal after quitting the girlband last year.

Little Mix released their sixth studio album Confetti last November, featuring the number one hit Sweet Melody.

It was their last record to feature founding member Jesy, 29, who announced her departure from the group in December after ‘constant pressure’ had ‘taken a toll on her mental health’.

It comes after Jesy signed a solo deal with global management firm YMU, amid reports she left the girlband’s record label to launch her own career.

In a statement from the management firm, Jesy said she was ‘so excited’ and couldn’t ‘wait to start her next chapter’.

YMU is a management company that has clients in sport, music and entertainment, including Take That, Steve Aoki, Ant & Dec and Fearne Cotton.

In a statement seen by Music Week, Jesy said: ‘I am so excited to join YMU and can’t wait to start my next chapter.’

Mary Bekhait, group CEO of YMU, said: ‘Jesy has enjoyed incredible success as a recording artist and performer and is well placed to further her remarkable career.

‘She is a hugely talented, versatile and authentic artist with a strong creative vision, and we are looking forward to helping her realise that.’

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Jesy for a comment.

The artist commanded the music charts with bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards for nine years, before she left the group for the sake of her mental health.

Jesy confirmed her permanent departure, just weeks after revealing she was taking a temporary hiatus from all work commitments.
