DWTS: Todd McKenney reveals he ‘looked ridiculous’ after getting Botox

‘My face froze’: Dancing with the Stars judge Todd McKenney, 55, reveals he ‘looked ridiculous’ after getting too much Botox

Todd McKenney is one of Australia’s most recognisable entertainers.

But the 55-year-old’s showbiz career suffered a minor setback in 2012 when he had too much Botox injected before season 12 of Dancing with the Stars.

Todd, who will return as a judge on Seven’s reboot of DWTS, told Woman’s Day he ‘made a mistake’ by trying to smooth out his wrinkles.

‘I looked ridiculous and I hated it! I’ll never do it again. My face froze. I couldn’t animate anything,’ he said.

Todd will appear on DWTS: All-Stars alongside Helen Richey, Paul Mercurio and Mark Wilson, who are all fan favourites from the show’s heyday.

Anticipation is building for the limited-run series, with TV legend Daryl Somers returning to host the reboot alongside Sonia Kruger.

Lincoln documented the reunion on Instagram, as the pair spent time with current stars Ada Nicodemou and Luke Jacobz at the show’s famous diner.

‘So it’s been a couple of years since I’ve been in the Home and Away diner and I think I’m seeing a few familiar faces,’ Lincoln said in the video.

‘Hello, fam!’ he told Bec, Ada and Luke, before pretending to order the ‘flaming galah special’ at the counter.

Ada still stars on the long-running soap as Leah Patterson.

Meanwhile, Luke recently reprised his role as Angelo Rosetta.
