Cassie welcomes her second child with husband Alex Fine and shares a first glimpse of her adorable baby daughter
Cassie became a mother of two earlier this week after giving birth to her second child, a baby girl named Sunny.
The 34-year-old singer shared her happy news to Instagram in a set of lovely photos featuring her husband Alex Fine and her one-year-old daughter Frankie.
‘On Monday March 22nd, 2021 @ 10:22am our hearts got bigger. Welcome to the world baby girl! We love you so much Sunny Cinco Fine!’ she captioned her photos.
Cassie was photographed in a loose-fitting white shirt with peach stripes while leaning against some floral wallpaper.
Baby Sunny was snoozing peacefully in a tiny brown hooded outfit while being wrapped up in a gray blanket.
Cassie (full name: Cassandra Ventura) was joined in other images by her personal trainer husband Alex, who was dressed casually in a black Nike sweatshirt and graphic sweatpants.
He leaned in for a loving kiss with his wife while holding their older daughter Frankie in his lap.

Cassie also included a closeup of her newest daughter and some outdoor snaps of the whole family.
She put on some blown-out jeans to pose with everyone in the sunlight, and Alex also posed alone in a cute photo with Frankie looking directly at the camera.
The Me & U singer previously shared several stunning photos of her pregnant tummy throughout the week as she looked ready to pop, though she had already given birth by the time they were posted.
She posed in a black plunging crop top and matching panties while resting her hand on her bump.
‘Becoming a mother has forever redefined the way that I love myself,’ she wrote. ‘I understand the importance of my own self love being crucial in raising our children to love themselves unconditionally, fiercely and unapologetically.’

The singer announced in December that she and her husband were expanding their family with a second child.
The announcement came a year after they welcomed Frankie in December 2019.
In January, Cassie told Babe by Hatch that she had intended to take more time between pregnancies, but the pandemic got in the way.
‘I had a four- or five-month window between the two pregnancies where I remember drinking wine and then back to being pregnant,’ she explained.
‘Before Covid, I was casually talking to my doctor about birth control, but once the stay-at-home order went into effect, I was lax about going to the doctor because I didn’t want to go out of the house unless necessary. Of course, I had no idea how fertile you are after having a baby, so I delayed. And, here we are, seven months later!’
Although she was excited for Frankie to have a ‘sibling super close in age,’ she said it feels as if she has ‘been pregnant for nearly three years.’
