Annie, who was wearing a black face mask to protect herself from the coronavirus, toted a canvas handbag and carried bags full of shopping in her arms.

Meanwhile, Michael was sporting a pair of vibrant yellow trousers, maroon corduroy shirt jacket and a purple neckerchief.

He was also covered up in a face mask and shielded his eyes from the sun with a circular pair of shades.

Annie is said to have worn a distinctive, white, floor-length gown with a lace bolero shrug and a 1920s style headpiece.

Annie shared her happiness through a simple tweet, posting a picture of her pink and white flowers and the words: ‘Wedding flowers: 15th September 2012.’

Mitch, a leading HIV charity chief, who has two teenage sons was married at the time.

Debra Jackson, his wife of 28 years, filed for divorce after pictures emerged of him walking hand-in-hand with Annie. It is believed their marriage was experiencing difficulties before this.

The couple decided to keep their wedding low-key in an act of sensitivity towards his ex-wife and the children.

The singer’s two daughters Lola, 30, and Tali, 28, from her second marriage to the Israeli record producer Uri Fructmann were also among the guests.

Annie shot to fame in the 1980s with the hit-churning group the Eurythmics.

Her first marriage in 1984 was to a German Hare Krishna devotee Radha Ramen but it ended a year later.

In 1988 she married Israeli film and record producer Uri and had two daughters Lola in 1990 and Tali in 1993. The marriage last 12 years and ended in 2000.
