Kyle Sandilands reveals the staggering seven-figure price tag of his wedding to ex-wife Tamara Jaber
Kyle Sandilands is the highest-paid radio host in Australia.
So it’s not surprising to learn he spared no expense for his September 2008 wedding to ex-wife Tamara Jaber.
‘Have you ever revealed how much your wedding cost?’ a colleague asked him on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Friday.

‘Oh, it cost a million dollars,’ Kyle, 49, casually replied, before explaining the reason for the seven-figure price tag.
He said most of the budget was spent on changing the floor plan of the wedding venue, Doltone House in Pyrmont.
Kyle also hired the crew from Australian Idol to film the lavish affair.

‘Doltone House, like, it’s just a big hall,’ he explained.
‘I had to change the floor plan so you’d walk downstairs. There were, like, stages built and the [Australian] Idol live crew filmed the wedding video.’
Kyle married Tamara, a former pop singer from the band Scandal’us, in September 2008, but they separated in July 2010.

Tamara, 38, said in January she was surprised to learn her ex-husband was still speaking about her on his radio show, a decade after their relationship ended.
‘I can’t believe I’m such good content 10 years on. I do find it amusing. I’m going to call it flattering because I haven’t spoken to him in years,’ she told Woman’s Day.
Tamara, who is engaged to San Francisco lawyer Eduardo Roy, added: ‘I never date men like Kyle. I date more reserved people.’
The KIIS FM host is now dating his business partner Tegan Kynaston.
