She’s widely known for taking on physically demanding roles in films such as Catwoman and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.

And on Friday morning, Halle Berry proved that she still has what it takes to keep her figure in fighting-fit shape as she posted a smoldering snap to her Instagram.

In the picture, the Oscar-winning actress was seen placing much of her impressively toned body on full display after finishing up a boxing routine at one of her usual gyms.

Berry was dressed in a black-and-gray multipatterned sports bra; her washboard abs and toned arms were on full display in the snap.

She continued with her athletic clothing ensemble with a pair of form-fitting black Koral athletic leggings that clung tightly to her sculpted thighs.

Much of the X-Men actress’ beautifully dyed hair was tied back, although her gorgeous bangs fell onto her forehead during the workout session.

The actress also tagged the Instagram account of her wellness platform Respin in her post’s caption.

Berry started the platform last year with the intention of providing fitness routines and wellness tips to her followers; she is often featured in its promotional materials.

After Respin grew larger, the performer began offering workout products and activewear on the brand’s website.

During a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the actress spoke about how she has attempted to maintain a toned figure throughout her career and how she has never strayed away from trying to stay in good shape.

‘I’ve always been fit, and have always thought about fitness and taking care of my body. It’s only changed in terms of how I’ve been adding to my fitness regimen,’ she said.

Berry also discussed how her role John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum required her to take on a grueling schedule where she alternated between advanced fitness routines and heavy-duty martial arts training.

The performer recalled, ‘I trained, some days, five hours a day. It took a toll, but I was determined to do it. It probably was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

‘It required a kind of dedication and focus and an attention to my diet like I never had before,’ she added.

The results of Berry’s high-intensity training were put on full display in her directorial debut Bruised, which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival last year.

In the film, the actress portrayed a mixed martial arts fighter who makes an attempt to return to the ring while dealing with personal issues.

Although the performer trained heavily for the feature, she suffered a minor injury while filming a fight scene, which led to a brief postponement of shooting; she returned to the set after a few days of recuperation.

Bruised is set to be released on Netflix at an unspecified date later this year.
