Mummy Diaries: Sam Faiers tells Paul Knightley she wants a third child in ‘one more year’

Sam Faiers has told Paul Knightley she wants a third child in ‘one more year’ despite him admitting he is ‘not having’ another anytime soon.

The couple are already parents to Paul Jr, five, and Rosie, three, and Sam, 30, is thinking about expanding their brood as she doesn’t want her next baby to be too apart in age from their siblings.

On Wednesday’s episode of Mummy Diaries, the couple were kept up until 4am as they tried to get Rosie to sleep in her own bed.

Speaking about their current nighttime difficulties, Sam said: ‘It’s not going to happen overnight.

‘You need to get them into a routine. She’s older and wiser so it’s going to take a bit of time.’

The conversation then moved to the couple expanding their family, with Sam admitting she wants another child sooner rather than later.

She told Paul: ‘If a third baby comes along, breastfeeding co-sleeping, we don’t want too much of a big gap.’

Paul sounded considerably less enthusiastic about the prospect as he replied: ‘I’m not having another baby yet.’

Smiling, Sam replied: ‘One more year.’

Elsewhere during the episode, Sam’s sister Billie admitted she has been struggling with feelings  of ‘mummy guilt’ lately while trying to juggle her career with raising Nelly, six, and Arthur, four.

Enjoying some quality time with Arthur in the kitchen, Billie said: ‘That’s where the mum guilt kicks in for me. Recently, always juggling. When you do get that alone time, you want it to be extra special.’

She added: ‘When I think three years ago I was doing this exact thing with Nellie and he was a baby, it’s just mad. I do look at Arthur and think, where has the time gone?’

Billie and her husband Greg Shepherd celebrated Arthur’s birthday earlier this month by throwing him a lavish superhero-themed party.

The reality star and her husband, 35, pulled out all the stops for the special occasion which was complete with presents, balloons and an impressive three-tier birthday cake.

But the big surprise of the day came when three Avengers superheroes – Iron Man, Spider-Man and Captain America – showed up at the front door of their Essex home.

Billie shared a tribute video of throwback snaps from Arthur’s childhood as well as a sweet message to him on her Instagram page.

The former Only Way is Essex star described her ‘baby’ as a ‘funny, caring little super star full of character and personality’ and shared her disbelief that he had turned four years old.

She wrote: ‘Our little superhero turns 4 ❤️ My little darling Arthur we love you so much our beautiful, funny, caring little super star full of character and personality… I still can’t believe my baby is four ❤️’.
