Liam Hemsworth has been inseparable from his girlfriend Gabriella Brooks since going public with their romance in January 2020.
But on Wednesday, the 31-year-old enjoyed a moment of solitude as he hit the beach for a solo surf session in Byron Bay.
The Hunger Games star covered up his muscular arms and abs in a tight black rash vest as he caught some waves.

The actor also wore printed swimming trunks as he balanced on his white surfboard.
Earlier in the day, Liam arrived to the beach wearing shorts, a white T-shirt, black hat and sunglasses.
He then showed off his impressive skills as he effortlessly rode the crashing waves.

The actor has previously been spotted spending time in Byron Bay with his model girlfriend Gabriella, 24.
They’ve have been dating since December 2019, following Liam’s highly publicised split from ex-wife Miley Cyrus in August that same year.
The Hunger Games star, went public with their romance in January, 2020.
They were isolating together in Victoria at the start of the coronavirus pandemic, but Gabriella later joined the whole Hemsworth family in Byron Bay.

Last month, Gabriella revealed how she stays grounded despite dating one of Australia’s most famous brothers.
‘I have a great support network who continually remind me of what’s important,’ the 24-year-old told The Daily Telegraph.
‘This is incredibly grounding,’ she added.

According to a report by Us Weekly in December 2019, Liam was ‘happy to be moving on’ following his turbulent split from Miley.
‘Liam feels comfortable with Gabriella. His family approves of her and really likes her, which is very important to him,’ a source told the publication at the time.
Gabriella and Liam’s romance is also ‘very different’ than the hunk’s relationship with ex-wife Miley, E! News reported.
