Johnny Galecki is leasing his ‘1920s Spanish compound’ in the Hollywood Hills for $45,000 a month

Johnny Galecki is currently leasing his stylish Hollywood Hills home, which he originally purchased in 2015 for a whopping $9.2million.

The 45-year-old actor has made the ‘1920s Spanish compound’ available through Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland, as reported by The Dirt on Wednesday.

To reside within the confines of the 5,334 square-foot abode, a potential tenant is expected to fork over $45,000 a month, along with a $135,000 deposit.

It comes fully-furnished and boasts an eclectic, mid-century modern aesthetic from the leather padded walls in the master bedroom to the various oak wood credenzas.

The outlet noted that the property was ‘painstakingly and expensively restored, updated and expanded’ by its past celebrity owner Ben Stiller. 

He enlisted the help of New York-based architecture firm Roman & Williams to bring the interior and exterior of the nearly half an acre property to life.

Stiller ditched the property in 2011, selling it to England-born action star Jason Statham. Statham would then go on to pass the property onto Galecki four years later.

The 1920s ‘compound’ consists of a total of five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, with three of the bedrooms in the ‘main house’ and the other two residing in the ‘guest house.’

Despite being in a highly populated area of Los Angeles, the property creates an illusion of seclusion with its electronic driveway that leads directly towards a cozy two car garage.

The carved wood door to the main house rests beneath a large white stucco arch and features terracota tiling and abundant greenery.  

According to The Dirt, the spacious living room – which features wood beaming and white plaster fireplace – includes a Beni Ourain rug and two tufted chesterfield couches.

The arched doorway leading from the living room to the billiards room features built in shelves stuffed to the brim with books. 

The main house’s kitchen is drenched in white cabinetry with contrasting black countertops, backsplashes, and beaming.

It also happens to have the polished terra-cotta floor tiles used in the home’s entryway.

Those wanting to enjoy a Netflix binge in a more cozy setting can sneak away from the main living space and venture to the taupe toned TV room.

Amping up the undeniably vintage vibe of the entire abode is the awe-inspiring speakeasy that doubles as a home theater with its projector screen and lush blue velvet seating.

The main house’s spacious master bedroom features a stunning balcony overlooking the resort-style pool and greenery-riddled backyard.

‘The wall behind the bed is covered in tawny leather panels,’ the outlet stated, adding that there is also a ‘fireplace sheathed in glossy tiles.’ 

The master bathroom features white tiling on the walls and luxe marble flooring, creating an airy look.

Reminiscent of the home’s kitchen, one of the guest restrooms consists of a stylish black-and-white color scheme.

Although the interior of the home is remarkable, the exterior provides a getaway feel due to its mosaic-tiled swimming pool and lush tropical greenery throughout.

The patio is made entirely of terra-cotta tiles with striking blue accents that help to tie in the outdoor furniture and the numerous blue-toned pots and sculptures scattered throughout the yard. 

Those wanting to entertain guests during an idyllic summer evening can make use of the dueling outdoor fireplaces, barbecue set-up, and spacious seating arrangements.

To get to the two-bedroom guest house, visitors must follow a brick staircase that leads directly to its secluded entrance.
