Erin Molan says she’s ‘desperate’ to have another baby but admits ‘it’s hard’ at 37 – three years after giving birth to her daughter Eliza

She welcomed her daughter, Eliza, back in 2018.

And on Wednesday, Erin Molan revealed her plans to have another child with her fiancé, police officer Sean Ogilvy.

The sports presenter, 37, said at the Women in Business event in Sydney she was ‘desperate’ to have another baby but ‘it’s hard’ at her age.

‘I’m a 37-year-old who had my first child three years ago and I am desperate to have more babies but it’s so hard,’ she said.

Meanwhile, Erin also experienced several hiccups throughout her first pregnancy.

The Nine journalist suffered two shocking falls within three months as well as battling extreme morning sickness and low blood sugar.

Her admission comes after Erin revealed it’s not easy being a parent.

She told TV Week in May last year: ‘You’re allowed to struggle and still know how blessed you are.

‘It’s the greatest thing you will ever do, but it can also be brutal in the early days.’

Erin also recently revealed her toddler had picked up an unfortunate new word.

In a column for Essential Baby, she explained she was left mortified after a woman at Eliza’s play group pulled her aside to tell her Eliza had shouted ‘F**k!’ while singing Let It Go from Disney’s Frozen.

Erin explained her daughter had learned the word after overhearing her mother swearing loudly while accidentally stubbing her toe.

‘At first, I tried the “No Eliza. Don’t say that – naughty word”, to which she would just get louder and louder. Then I started laughing hysterically,’ Erin said.

‘It’s now a favourite when we FaceTime the grandparents!’

For the time being, Erin and Sean are ‘ignoring’ the problem and hope Eliza will eventually get bored and stop using the profanity.
