Adam Levine shows off his impressive full-leg tattoo that took THREE DAYS to fully finish

Adam Levine is no stranger to ink, but he recently showed off what may be among his most impressive tattoos to date.

The 42-year-old Maroon 5 frontman took to his Instagram story on Wednesday afternoon, showcasing the full-leg ink. 

He described the finished product as ‘mint,’ with the tattoo stretching from his ankle to his middle thigh in the photo. 

The Voice coach first shared several photos and videos of tattoo artist Nathan Kostechko working on the tattoo on his Instagram story on Tuesday.

‘Today was ouch, but worth it,’ Levine said on his Instagram story, while tagging the tattoo artist Kostechko. 

He shared another glimpse of the full-leg artwork, adding in the caption, ‘Most painful way to get a tan.’

Kostechko had previously created the large tattoo of the Immaculate Heart on Levine’s back for him.

The singer spoke with People in 2019 about his extensive tattoo collection, revealing that he got his first ink – a dove on his left bicep – when he was just 21.

‘It was five days after 9/11. I felt this needed to say something with this peaceful thing on my body,’ Levine said.

Levine also took to his Instagram story on Wednesday, to cryptically tease something he was doing this weekend, which he was quite excited about.

‘I’m doing something this weekend that I can’t talk about yet, but I’m really excited and it’s a little special surprise,’ Levine teased.

‘It’s going to be super fun, and great, and I’m being super vague but I’m so excited and I’m not supposed to say anything but it’s going to be great,’ he concluded. 

Levine recently teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion for a new music video shoot for their song Beautiful Mistakes, released earlier this  month.

‘Had so much fun with this amazingly talented woman!’ Levine said, adding three heart emojis with @maroon5 @theestallion #beautifulmistakes.

Earlier this year he also appeared on the song Lifestyle with Jason Derulo.
