Ex-Bachelor star Heather Maltman is engaged to long-term boyfriend Matt Baker after he romantically proposed in Broken Hill.
The 35-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the moving clip and a gallery of photos of the moment Matt got down on bended knee.
‘Will you marry me?’ Matt asked, surprising his overwhelmed girlfriend.

‘Nah,’ Heather replied, obviously joking.
‘You know I want to spend the rest of my life with you?’ he said, before adding: ‘I love you so much.’
‘Yeah. Yes,’ replied Heather, before going on to ask what hand an engagement ring goes on.
‘Holy sh*t, holy sh*t,’ she added. ‘Best festival ever.’

Over at Matt’s Instagram, he shared a loving tribute to his new fiancée.
‘I’m the luckiest man in the world,’ he wrote.
‘You are just the best person I know. My best friend, my lover and now fiancée, how fancy!’ What a great weekend away in Broken Hill.’
The couple were inundated with messages from celebrity friends including medium Harry T and Mike Goldman.

The former Bachelor star has been dating Matt for approximately three years.
The couple had a brief split in late 2018 before getting back together.

Back in 2019, the couple were sadly hit by tragedy when they publicly revealed they had suffered a miscarriage.
Heather spoke to Mammamia with the intention of breaking a taboo around the subject and making it easier for women.
Heather said when she was given the news by her doctor, she ‘just kind of floated out of my body at the stage.’

‘When I went to the doctor he said, “I see a case like yours every day”… But it’s just not talked about. And that just doesn’t make any sense to me,’ Heather said.
‘Matt and I walked out and into the elevator, and I burst into tears there, because I didn’t want to make [the doctor] feel bad for breaking the bad news.
‘To have a miscarriage, you’re literally saying goodbye to someone that you’ve already started connecting with. They exist in your body, so they exist in the world.
