Chrissy Teigen shows off acting chops on Instagram with behind-the-scenes clip of mushroom role

Chrissy Teigen showed off her acting chops Tuesday on Instagram with a behind-the-scenes clip of herself performing as a mushroom.

The 35-year-old model got into character in a full mushroom costume that included a large round brown cap with tan gills underneath.

‘Uh, no, that’s not it either,’ Chrissy said with her hands on her hips while standing in front of a large green screen used for visual effects.

‘Well, I guess I do spend time in stinky dirt, but that dirt is full of nutrients,’ she continued as she dropped her arms pleadingly.

Chrissy in the caption for her roughly 34.3 million followers simply posted ‘@televisionacad’ for the Television Academy that annually presents the Primetime Emmy Awards honoring achievement in US primetime television.

The cookbook author has teamed up with Kris Jenner, 65, for their new cleaning products line Safely.

They shared a hilarious ad Monday on the brand’s Instagram page that featured Chrissy pitching terrible product ideas to the momager.

Safely officially will launch Thursday and will offer hand creams, soaps and sanitizers, along with more heavy-duty cleaning supplies and glass cleaner products.

Chrissy also has launched a successful line of Cravings cookbooks and has been working on a forthcoming third book in the series.

She introduced her cooking website Cravings by Chrissy Teigen in November 2019 that gives fans entertaining tips and delicious recipes. 

Chrissy earlier this month appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to plug her new online store Cravings By Chrissy Teigen.

She also admitted that she’s been ‘chatting’ about starting her own restaurant and has been scoping out possible locations.

Chrissy has been married since 2013 to singer John Legend, 42, and they have daughter Luna, four, and two-year-old son Miles together.
