Today host Allison Langdon is wheeled through Nine studios by Karl Stefanovic

Perks of the job! Today host Allison Langdon is wheeled through Channel Nine studios by Karl Stefanovic as she recovers from knee surgery

Karl Stefanovic proved he was a team player on Tuesday by wheeling his co-anchor Allison Langdon through Channel Nine’s studios on a transport trolley.

In a video shared to Instagram, the 46-year-old dragged his colleague around on the device which is typically used for carrying studio equipment.

Allison, 41, was being conveyed on the trolley because she’s still recovering from knee surgery stemming from a hydrofoiling accident that occurred in early February.

Allison appeared to be in good spirits in the footage as she yelled ‘Yeah!’ and raised her arms in the air.

Karl was dressed in a grey suit, which he teamed with a blue shirt and matching tie.

Ally wore a lime green blouse, black trousers and comfortable sneakers.

When Allison returned to the Today on March 7, she was pushed through Nine’s Sydney studios in a wheelchair as she balanced a pair of crutches on her lap.

At the time, she was greeted by her co-host Karl, who helped her wheel her towards the news desk for the start of the show.

Allison had taken a month off work to undergo knee surgery after falling from a hydrofoil during a pre-recorded segment on the Gold Coast on February 4.

She previously told The Kyle and Jackie O Show she’d broken her leg and dislocated a knee during the accident.

Allison also revealed she was seeing a physiotherapist three times a week after having surgery.

Despite her return to work, Allison is still far from fully recovered and requires both a wheelchair and crutches to get around.
