Atletico Madrid striker Moussa Dembele fainted and appeared to lose consciousness during a training session on Tuesday.
The former Lyon striker was filmed stretching out his hamstrings before falling to the ground and lying motionless on the pitch.
Dembele’s teammates were quick to react and assisted the striker before calling for the help of Atletico’s medical staff.

Members of the medical team spent several minutes trying to resuscitate the player, while others ran to the pitch side ambulance to request a paramedic and stretcher.
Thankfully, the 24-year-old regained consciousness after being turned on his side and was able to leave the pitch unassisted.
Dembele has since gone for medical tests following the worrying episode and reports have stated there is no ‘serious’ concern, claiming the incident was caused by low blood pressure.

As a result, Dembele was able to drive himself home following the incident in the Spanish capital.
The dramatic scene at Atletico brought back memories of the moment Fabrice Muamba collapsed on the pitch with a heart attack in 2012.
Referee Howard Webb abandoned Tottenham’s FA Cup quarter-final clash with Bolton, saying the players ‘could not go on’ after Muamba collapsed.
Muamba fell to the ground on his own near the centre circle 41 minutes into the game. It wasn’t long before players had tears in their eyes as the severity of the situation quickly became clear.
Several looked to the skies in prayer and were consoled by team-mates as medics attempted to resuscitate Muamba with electric shock treatment.
Muamba recovered from the cardiac arrest, despite his heart having stopped for 78 minutes.

Dembele – who joined Atletico on a ‘loan with an option to buy’ deal from Lyon in January – will be hoping the incident does not derail his progress at Atletico.
Since being handed the No 19 shirt – which was previously worn by Diego Costa – Dembele has struggled to cement his place in the team.
Having made just two LaLiga appearances so far, Marca have said that the striker is hoping to utilise the extra opportunities Diego Simeone is going to give him over the coming weeks.
