Vanessa Romito finds love one year after appearing on Married At First Sight as she debuts boyfriend

Her Married At First Sight experience was cut short after she abruptly left her ‘husband’ Chris Nicholls halfway through year’s season.

And almost one year after appearing on the Channel Nine show, Vanessa Romito has finally found love with an Italian hunk named Leo.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia about her new relationship, Vanessa, 33, gushed: ‘He’s my idea of perfect.’

‘Leo is the only guy I’ve ever dated that I’ve actually been attracted to,’ she said.

While little is known about Leo, it’s understood he is Colombian and Italian, and is ‘everything Vanessa has wished for and more.’

‘He’s a Scorpio, so it’s literally like dating the male version of myself. Cause like he’s fiery. So it’s good,’ she said.  

The couple have been dating for several months after meeting in November 2020. 

Photos exclusively obtained of the couple, show the Perth-based pharmacy manager cosied up to the hunk while enjoying several outings together.

One photo shows the pair smiling for a selfie, while Vanessa flaunted her trim figure in a red bikini top.

Vanessa explained that she has already introduced Leo to her family and he is the first guy that they’re all fond of.

Previously speaking to the Reality TV & Me podcast, Vanessa said she knew her that her Married At First Sight groom Chris Nicholls wasn’t the one for her the moment that she met him on their wedding day.  

‘I think there are a lot of show-y men [in the world]. I don’t like show-y. I just want someone down to earth, who does not like Instagram, I just want someone real,’ she explained. 

She continued: ‘This sounds really bad, I kind of got this player vibe and I got a party boy vibe and I said this to my producer when I walked [down the aisle]. 

‘I’m in the health profession as well, so he had yellow eyes, yellow teeth, and the way he was standing made him look like he had a pot belly. He looked really pale as well. So he looked like a party boy.’
