Jaimie Alexander arrived in Australia in January to film her part as warrior Sif in Marvel’s Thor: Love And Thunder.

And it appears the American actress has wrapped her role in the upcoming movie as she was spotted jetting out of Sydney airport on Monday.

The 37-year-old rugged up for Sydney’s wild wet weather, and wore a comfortable-and-casual ensemble for the long flight home.

The Hollywood actress dressed down in trackpants, a jumper and a large black coat with tartan detailing.

Jaimie’s short cropped, raven tresses were swept back into a messy top bun, and appeared to opt for minimal makeup.

The Blindspot star gave a friend a hug as she was waved off at the terminal, and was seen pushing her luggage through the airport in socks and slip-on sandals.

Jaimie had told her followers on Sunday that she was enjoying her ‘last day in Sydney’, and on Monday shared a photo within an aircraft.

She wrote: ‘In pajamas ready for take off, and ready for some sleep.’

The American star completed Australia’s mandatory 14-day hotel quarantine in Sydney when she arrived in the country in January amid the coronavirus pandemic.

As reported by Deadline, the Blindspot actress will not only return to the Thor movies with the new Thor, but also is likely to appear on the upcoming Disney+ series offshoot Loki.

Jaimie first portrayed Sif in 2011’s Thor, before reprising the role in Thor: The Dark World two years later.

She was not included in 2017’s third installment, Thor: Ragnarok, which is regarded as the best of the series so far.

Buzz for the new film, to be directed by Ragnarok’s Taika Waititi, has already been high, as it will feature Oscar winner Natalie Portman – who has been in Australia a number of months – taking on the mantle of Thor.
