AFLW star Moana Hope and wife Isabella Carlstrom announce exciting new family plans after welcoming daughter Svea
Women’s AFL star Moana Hope and her wife, model Isabella Carlstorm, welcomed daughter Svea in November.
Speaking to Woman’s Day magazine this week, the 33-year-old footballer said the pair would try for another.
‘We’re going to try and get pregnant towards the end of the next year I think, which is super exciting,’ Moana said.

She went on to confirm to the magazine that she plans on carrying the child.
Moana then went on to detail Svea’s birth.
‘I was able to pull Svea out and put her onto Bell’s chest and in that moment I felt an overwhelming sense of love and protection that I’ve never felt before,’ she said.

Moana went on to say she wanted a ‘houseful’ of babies for the family.
‘I want a houseful of babies! But we’re aiming for three at the moment,’ she added.
The happy family news comes after Moana revealed she had a cancer scare after finding a lump shortly after Svea’s birth.

Speaking to Stellar magazine, she said thankfully the test results came back negative with her breathing a sigh of relief.
The Australian Survivor star said: ‘We’re very lucky it wasn’t cancerous because the doctor told me I had a 50/50 chance it was.’
Moana’s cancer scare followed the birth of their daughter Svea in November, as well as Isabella’s own health struggle.

The model was rushed into an emergency operation to remove 5cm of placenta she had retained six weeks after giving birth.
And after undergoing more tests, doctors also found the new mother had a very low iron count, and is now undergoing transfusions to bring her levels back up.
Isabella noted that she sacrificed her mind, body and spirit during her pregnancy.

‘You can’t compare it to anything. It’s unbelievable – I have nothing but pride for myself, even in my hardest moments,’ she added.
