He’s been gradually adding to his impressive collection of tattoos over the years.

And Adam Levine debuted a massive new set of ink on Sunday when he ventured out in Montecito, California, about an hour and a half northwest of Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old Maroon 5 frontman was joined on his trip up the coast by his model wife Behati Prinsloo, 32.

Caffeine blast: Adam Levine, 42, looked casual and relaxed in Montecito, California, on Sunday as he showed off his new leg tattoo while grabbing coffee with his wife Behati Prinsloo, 32

Adam kept his look casual and comfortable with a plain white T-shirt and a loose-fitting set of baby blue Gucci shorts with the brand’s red and green stripes running down the side of the legs.

He matched his pants to a pair of blue-and-gold Nike suede sneakers and rounded out his outfit with a white LA Dodgers baseball cap with a light blue bill.

The singer’s new tattoo had plenty of visibility on his shin and showed what appeared to be a stylized wave of water in the style of the iconic painting The Great Wave Off Kanagawa by Japanese artist Hokusai.

Adam’s wife Behati looked chic in her own comfy–casual ensemble that was centered around a lustrous set of baggy burgundy pants with cargo pockets.

She paired the velvety pants with a white top and a mustard yellow cardigan that she left unbuttoned.

The Victoria’s Secret Angel kept a matching yellow scrunchy on her wrist and covered up her brunette locks with a white bucket hat.

Both she and Adam did their part to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus by wearing heavy-duty N95 masks, with her opting for a green design while he wore a white mask.

Adam has been with the Namibian model since they began dating in May 2012.

The couple married just over two years later in July 2014 in Mexico, and they went on to welcome two daughters, Dusty, four, and Gio, three.

Adam’s band Maroon 5 returned earlier this month with a new high-profile single featuring the Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

The song, Beautiful Mistakes, opens with Adam driving solo in a convertible Cadillac in a somber, realist introduction, before he leaves reality and drives into a candy-colored psychedelic landscape.

Megan jumps into the car in midair for her verse while dressed in a lustrous silvery crop top that matched her silver wig.

Notably, the video only features Adam and none of his other Maroon 5 bandmates.

His lone presence may have been influenced by bassist Mickey Madden taking a leave of absence back in June 2020 after he was arrested on domestic violence charges.

Ironically, Adam complained to Zane Lowe on Apple Music earlier this month that ‘There’s no bands anymore, and I feel like they’re a dying breed.’

His band, which formed in 1994, while perform a live virtual set featuring songs from their upcoming seventh album on March 30 as part of American Express Unstaged.
