‘Winning will save our family farm’: ‘Outback mum’ Mel McGorman is the latest housemate to join Big Brother
Big Brother Australia is returning to screens soon for its second season.
And on Sunday, the show revealed another housemate – outback mum Mel McGorman who is entering the cult series with a game plan.
‘Winning Big Brother will save our family farm and my kids will be okay,’ Melissa, 33, said, in a statement from Channel Seven.

She added: ‘That’s all I want for them, to secure their future. Nothing will break me.’
Melissa has battled both drought and bushfire in real life, and is more than ready to tackle what the world-renowned reality series can throw at her.
Melissa’s introduction comes after it was announced that antique jewellery dealer Sarah Jane Adams would also be joining to show.

The 65-year-old is already famous in her own right, boasting 195,000 Instagram followers.
She has also authoured the book, ‘Life In A Box: Traveller. Antiques Dealer. Mother. Model. Iconoclast’, which was released last year.
The book deals with the various ways people are forced to ‘live in boxes’ – and Sarah Jane explains how she defied those expectations by living a colourful life.
