Male supermodel Jordan Barrett debuts two huge scars on his face

Jordan Barrett has surfaced on social media with a distinctively rugged new look. 

Posting to Instagram on Sunday, the male supermodel, 22, uploaded a short video of himself pouting for the camera with two large scars on his face. 

One large scar stretched across his forehead, while another dragged down his cheek towards his neck. 

‘All systems go,’ the catwalk king wrote in his caption, making sure to tag the official Instagram account of an upcoming TV series called Burn. 

Several crew members could be seen it the background of the video, suggesting that Jordan was on-set filming scenes for Burn. 

While Jordan’s scars appear to be prosthetic makeup, many fans shared their dismay at seeing the model with such dramatic injuries.  

‘Omg is that scar real?’ asked one astonished fan, while another added: ‘Big scar! That better not be real!’ 

However, some fans were convinced the scars were part of Jordan’s costume, with one commenting: ‘It’s makeup, calm down you people.’

‘He’s filming something, hence the crew in the background,’ another added.  

Jordan is signed with leading Hollywood talent powerhouse, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), and is also represented by Kate Moss Agency for modelling. 

Last year, a source told Daily Mail Australia that Jordan is ‘transitioning into film this year’, and it was understood at the time that he had landed a role in a major Hollywood flick. 

Jordan – who hails from the idyllic Byron Bay – has had huge success overseas after being scouted at the tender age of 14.
