She then asked, ‘What brings you happiness?’

Earlier this week she told DailyMail.com exclusively that she feels lucky to live by the shore.

‘I live by the beach so I have all that space to walk in the sand and enjoy the fresh air, it makes walks easy, and I am at a safe distance from everyone, so I am lucky in that regard,’ said Jane.

And she is very grateful for the pod she established during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Her kids have come and gone with their children in tow much to the delight of the star from Hayes in the UK.

‘I am grateful to be with family during Covid,’ shared the Wedding Crashers actress.

‘I have so enjoyed being with my grandchildren. It is so much fun to help them with homework and painting with them. They are turning into little artists!’ added Jane.

‘My partner David Green lost 30lbs on the diet and so I thought I would try it and it has been working very well.’

The 8/16 diet requires her to eat within an eight hour window then spend the next 16 hours fasting.

The movie icon said her biggest meal is lunch followed by snacks at 5 pm or 6 pm.

‘We enjoy lean meets like chicken and fish and we pick fresh vegetables from our garden. I love roasted cauliflower with Cumin and broccolini with Rosemary from our garden. And I also like sweet potatoes with roasted garlic.’

And one of her tricks is using truffle oil. ‘It is wonderful to cook with, just a little adds so much flavor and makes a meal seem gourmet.

WHAT IS THE 8/16 DIET?

16:8 intermittent fasting, which people sometimes call the 16:8 diet or 16:8 plan, is a popular type of fasting.

People who follow this eating plan will fast for 16 hours a day and consume all of their calories during the remaining 8 hours.

Suggested benefits of the 16:8 plan include weight loss and fat loss, as well as the prevention of type 2 diabetes and other obesity-associated conditions.

Some people believe that this method works by supporting the body’s circadian rhythm, which is its internal clock.

Most people who follow the 16:8 plan abstain from food at night and for part of the morning and evening. Most calories are consumed in the day.

‘When Covid started I went online to buy truffle oil and I must have hit a wrong button because about three or bottles came in the mail. But now I have tons of it and the kids like when I use it, they call it the Covid Special.’

As far as her 8/16 diet, Jane says she is smart about how to fend off cravings.

‘I have my big meal at lunch but then at like 5 or 6 pm I get a little hungry again so I have a few snacks like pistachios, berries and guacamole. I am a muncher when I watch TV, I need something,’ added the mother of four.

Her kids are Katherine, 39, Sean, 35, and twins Kristopher and John, 25.

And when her sweet tooth rises up, she reaches for ‘a small piece of dark chocolate.’

And if she is asked to dinner by friends, she tries to make the date as early as possible.

‘Early dinners work best because I don’t want to go to bed full,’ shared Seymour.

Vitamins are also a must to build up her immune system.

She takes vitamin C, multi vitamin E, D-3, omega, co-enzyme Q-10 and ginger shots.

And lately she has been taking Niacin, a B vitamin that’s made and used by your body to turn food into energy. It helps keep your nervous system, digestive system and skin healthy.

As far as working out, she says she is not an extreme athlete type but would rather take her time and listen to her body.

‘I will stretch and do ballet moves whenever I can,’ said the Kominsky Method star.

‘I started doing ballet at a young age and it has stuck with me.

‘So I stretch a lot and there is a rail in my house that I will use as a ballet bar and I do a few exercises every day,’ added the star.

Seymour also shared with DailyMail.com that she does gyrotonics.

That is a unique system of exercise that incorporates movement principles from yoga, dance, gymnastics, swimming and t’ai chi.

And lastly, the looker likes to lifts weights to keep her arms lean.

They sparkle beautifully with diamonds and diamond simulants set in silver and gold.

The Open Hearts Philosophy is inspired by Seymour’s mother, Mieke Frankenberg, who always told Jane and her sisters that in times of great challenge they should accept what is happening and look to see what they can do to help others.

‘When one does this, they have a purpose in life, and can transform adversity into opportunity. By opening one’s heart, love can find its way in,’ it says in a press release.
