Pip Edwards is enjoying the single life after her split with Michael Clarke earlier this year. 

In an interview with Body and Soul magazine on Saturday, the P.E Nation co-founder, 41, said that she gains strength and pride from staying physically fit.

Pip added:  ‘I love feeling strong from the core, to have the confidence to stand tall, and to know my body is fit. It’s what empowers me from the inside out.’

The comments come after her relationship with cricketer Michael, 39, came to an end.

It’s understood they split in recent months, less than a year after they went public with their romance.

While they were inseparable for much of the relationship, neither has featured on the other’s Instagram since Australia Day.  

When contacted about their split at the time, Pip told Daily Mail Australia: ‘I have no comment, no comment at all.’

Another said that despite the couple’s propensity for loved-up Instagram posts, over recent times ‘things had been rather rocky’.

Pip and Michael are believed to have started dating shortly after the sports star split from his wife of seven years, Kyly Clarke, in September 2019.

Michael and Kyly, 39, announced their split in February last year, around the same time Pip and Michael denied they were an item.
