The television personality looked adorable in the boyhood throwbacks, some of which featured family members while others showed the future reality star as a cheeky toddler.

He penned: ‘Was going through a few old photos the other day and came across this… Makes me smile cause I probably didn’t have a worry in the world and thought that my life would be plain sailing.

‘Completely unaware of how tough things were gonna be at times but I’m so grateful for my journey, both the good and the bad because it’s the tough times that shape who we are.’

Mark wrote that working on his new book, Get Fit, Get Healthy, Get Happy, led him to reflect on where his values come from.

He added: ‘I’ve realised so much of it comes from experiences in the early years of my life. Mum & Dad helped me to understand that hard work is necessary to get you where you want to go and I also learned how quickly it can be taken away from you – and so to never take things for granted.

Other photos showed Mark and his fellow future footballer brother Josh Wright, 31, posing poolside,  sporting drawn-on twirly moustaches.

It’s been an extremely difficult month for the I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! alumni, who tragically lost his beloved uncle Edward to Covid-19.

In January, Mark revealed coronavirus had left his uncle in a ‘critical condition’ after detailing how his own father Mark Snr had been ‘mentally changed’ by his battle with Covid.

Ex-TOWIE star Mark whose parents Mark. Snr, 64, and Carol, 60, announced on New Year’s Eve they had been struck down by the virus, said his father was ‘not the same as four weeks ago’ during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.

Following his uncle’s death, Mark took to social media to share a tribute to the 66-year-old and vowed to look after his aunt Debbie.

Alongside a lovely set of snaps with his relative, the star wrote: ”No where, never, ever will you find better. My uncle Eddie, you were 1 in a trillion. You taught me so much!! Nearly everything I know as a man.

‘From how to love my family, to treat my woman with respect, to work hard, to smile, to be a gentleman and the one you enjoyed most.

‘You taught me Golf (which I promise to keep practising to be as good as you wanted me to be) most of all, you were one of the most integral parts of our incredible family.

‘You were the glue, the one that MADE us meet up and make memories (which again we promise to continue. We will NOT let you down) ultimately…. I am soooooo PROUD to call you my uncle and I will until the end of day.

‘I/we are absolutely broken, but together because we are the family we are…. we will get through, somehow some day.’
